SW-520D Tilt Switch Angle Sensor Module

The SW-520D operates via a rolling-ball mechanism inside a sealed tube. When the sensor is tilted, the ball moves and closes the circuit, activating the switch. The output is digital, providing a simple HIGH (1) or LOW (0) signal to indicate whether the sensor is tilted or not.

Q & A

The SW-520D Tilt Switch Angle Sensor Module is a simple, reliable motion detection device that senses tilt, vibration, or orientation changes. It is based on the SW-520D tilt switch, which contains a small metal ball that moves inside the sealed housing to open or close the circuit when the module is tilted beyond a certain angle.

This module features an LM393 comparator IC and an adjustable potentiometer, allowing you to fine-tune the sensitivity for digital output. It provides both analog and digital signal outputs, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other control boards.
